This box is like a smorgasboard, an all-you-can eat breakfast buffet or a party bag par excellence of products and brands to dip in and out of that I think are amazing for women over 40, that work for us, that address areas that we are interested in and that have the values we have. It’s not complete, I could only get so many lovely items in this box but test and try all of these beauties – there are new favourites waiting to be discovered!

This brand totally gets women over 40. Rich, luxuriant and multi-tasking the products are built for us. Prep & Prime is a classic example as it moisturises, smoothes, primes and protects with an SPF30. The priming just simmers down those fine lines making this an incredible base for make up.

These had to be flown in from the USA for you, but once I’d seen them reviewed in the Daily Mail last April HERE I knew that you would love them! SiO recognises that a quick fix for lines and wrinkles is something that we all want and these WORK. Reusable, these patches are brilliant for anyone worried about fine lines around the eye or lip – I LOVE these, they're quick easy and make me look great!

Abi Cleeve, the clever girl who created this, has understood that sunscreen for face is different for that used on the body. So, she’s packed this with ingredients to keep UVA/UVB off our faces, to protect our skin from blue light (computers, phones etc) but she’s also pushed in oodles of moisture so that fine lines are smoothed away while wearing. The ultimate in face sun care.
Laruce Make Up Brushes

Laruce is a luxury tool brand from the USA. Not available here these brushes are some of the very best on the market – vegan, hypoallergenic and cruelty free (so synthetic hairs). Use the Flat Shading Brush as part of the April eye routine, to swish a neutral powder along the upper lash line. Use the Flat Blending Brush for under eye concealer to blend, without pulling the skin around the delicate eye.

You’ve never heard of this have you? It’s unprepossessing, white, even (I’m sorry to say) a little dull on the outside but here’s the thing. Not only is the balm top quality packed with Vitamin E and Rice Bran Oil, but the packaging is made from more plastic reclaimed from the ocean than any other tube. James, the owner of Oryza not only formulated the balm, but the plastic tube as well – he’s a very bright man and this is the most innovative packaging I’ve seen in a long time.
