It's here!
Not only is the September box here, but the new TOYL box is here!
We spent a long time designing the box so do let us know what you think. It's fully recyclable, including the glue, so do make sure that you dispose of it carefully.
Anyway, onto what's in the box!
September is a changing time of year, so I wanted to bring you back in touch with your senses - the fragrances and feel of some amazing products.
We start with Jane Scrivner's Luxurious Cleansing Balm (50ml/ RRP £33.00), which is my personal cleanser of choice. I podcasted with Jane earlier this year (HERE) and I was blown away by her mastery of oils to make great skincare. I used to think that oils were grease, just not helping the skin at all, but her range has made me totally re-evaluate my thoughts on this. I'm thrilled that we got her cleanser into the box, with a gorgeous cleansing cloth. I know that there are many oil based cleansers out there, but Jane's organic balm is just fantastic. Let me know if it improves your skintone.
I've then gone onto Crabtree & Evelyn's Falling Stars Body & Hair Overnight Oil (100ml / RRP £27.00). Overnight hair oils can help amazingly well with your hair conditioning and I would use this on hair rather than body. The key reasons is that it's a small bottle, so if you use it on your body it's not going to last long, and we have the body lotion from last month that we are still using so we don't need it. Of course, if you need to use it on dry elbows etc, it's perfect, but hair is where we are going. The challenge is always the pillow - will it end up covered in oil? A bit, is the honest answer, but focus this product on hair ends and you'll get a better result. Rinse off in the morning with your regular shampoo/conditioner for silky soft hair and apply one dried, as you would a hair serum.
Sticking with Crabtree & Evelyn, you now have the Renew + Nourish Hand Cream (75ml / RRP £20.50). Crabtree's undergone a face lift in terms of their packaging and branding, but there's no question that their hand cream is one of the very best on the market. Hand cream is something we all need regularly and this one will also work to rejuvenate skin, so is perfect for women who don't want hands that look dry as we go into colder months.
Finally, we have Crabtree & Evelyn's Evelyn Rose Solid Perfume (4g / RRP £22.50). I've got to be honest, the tube casing isn't my favourite, it looks a bit cheap, but solid fragrance is just lovely and simple to carry and this one smells fabulous. Get past the tube and you'll see what I mean as it's packed with heady flower, rich spices, smoky woods and creamy musk - divine.
I hope you love it, do send me your feedback and I'm off to shoot our new video and Christmas content this week - I'll post from the shoot! Have a great bank holiday and catch up next week!
