We're coming towards Christmas, turkey or not and one of the key stories during the Christmas holidays is that of the three wise men. Well, I've decided to put an early spin on that this year and I'd like to introduce you to the TOYL Three Wise Women - Lynne, Sue and Tracey.
These three gorgeous people have agreed to become the TOYL Advisory Board. What does that mean? Well, in short it means they keep me on the straight and narrow by asking the questions that you might like to ask about our business.
They will feed back to me on the posts I create here and on Instagram or Facebook, ensuring that I'm touching on relevant subjects and to be sure that I've not left anyone out.
They'll feed back on how they enjoyed the contents of each box, what they didn't like, why were products included and have I thought of other products.
They'll put their considerable expertise to work on our behalf, introducing TOYL to those who might have some synergy with us so that we can both work with them and highlight them to you. In short, they will keep me accountable, so let me introduce them to you.
Lynne Franks OBE
As the initiator of London Fashion Week, Lynne has positioned the UK as a global centre for cutting edge fashion. As part of her fashion advocacy at Lynne Franks PR, she represented many of the top designers; launched fashion home shopping with NEXT Directory; promoted Green Consumer Week and championed sustainable consumption. Lynne brings to TOYL an extensive understanding of both women’s empowerment through her SEED women’s business books, trainings and on-line platform, and her work to combat sexual violence against women and girls with the global organisation, One Billion Rising.
Sue Peart
During a four-decade Fleet Street career including editorships of the Mail on Sunday’s YOU Magazine and The Times Weekend supplement, Sue is the recipient of multiple awards including a Special Lifetime Achievement Award from the British Society of Magazine Editors. A board member of Cosmetic Executive Woman for 15 years, Sue brings an incredible broad range of expertise to the brand.
Tracey Woodward
Previously the CEO of Aromatherapy Associates and a former Head of M&S Beauty, Tracey is now CEO of vegan beauty brand Modern Botany. Tracey provides TOYL with first-hand insight into how the brand can assist midlife women to overcome adversity as well as find their best selves in midlife.
So, welcome to these amazing women and I hope that their influence over TOYL in the coming years will be something you welcome to make this space even better for you!
